You don’t have to focus that much on what you’re doing and if they’re actually good, they’ll teach you cool spins,” Zelle said. “It’s fun to have someone really good lead. Zelle likewise adores engaging in swing dancing with a more experienced dancer in hopes to gain new swing dancing knowledge to practice and exude. Plus, most of it is improvisation, so it draws creative elements out as well,” Morse said. It pulls you out of your comfort zone because you have to dance with people you don’t know, at least in the lesson portion, and you also have to learn to be comfortable with actually dancing in front of people. In addition to Zelle, sophomore Chloe Morse has enjoyed her Thursday nights at the Street Caves to broaden her horizons and swing outside the box. Green writes that along with commercial use like storing equipment or for growing mushrooms, the Wabasha Street Caves were notoriously known as being a speakeasy and a gangster hangout during the Prohibition in the 1920s. In her book, Minnesota Underground & the Best of the Black Hills: A Guide to Mines, Sinks, Caves and Disappearing Streams, underground explorer and Wisconsin resident Doris Green unpacks the intricate history of various caves in Minnesota. In addition to being a speakeasy, these man-made sandstone caves were originally built as silica mines in the 19th century. It draws you out of your comfort zone, and forces you to talk to new people. “The caves are really cool in general, so it’s nice that something so fun happens there It was an old speakeasy, so there’s a historical feel to it,” Zelle said. If you run low on health, use your potion. This is the only boss that you won’t get hurt from by touching. Try to get a feel for his attacking patterns and attack when he isn’t. Part 2: The only attack that he can’t deflect back at you (though he might block) is dragon’s grasp. You can use dragon’s grasp occasionally to hit him and do damage. When he comes down in his swirling sword attack, dodge it and then attack him as he comes back up. Part 1: Deflect the boss’s fireballs back at him. Make sure to have a potion with you before you enter the boss fight. If you stand on the moving platforms, you’ll avoid the big lava boulders. You can deflect his fireballs with your sword but he won’t take damage from them. Use your dragon’s grasp spell to hook him closer and then hit him. Make sure to turn on dimension rift again and kill the towers if his shield comes back. While his shield is down, turn off dimension rift and just hack and slash him. The boss is invulnerable until you destroy his shield by hitting the two towers (which you can only see with dimension rift on). Right when you get into the boss fight, turn on dimension rift and destroy the two towers shooting beams at the boss to make a shield. You need to have the dimension rift spell. The fastest and easiest way to beat the boss is by deflecting his fireballs with your sword (by hitting them).
